Theresa Waugh - Author

Theresa Waugh has contributed to many Women Like Me community books, using her creative talents to share inspiring stories with others. Born in Vancouver, BC, she was adopted at a young age, growing up with some siblings she knew and others she discovered later in life.

Theresa’s love for sports shaped much of her early years, particularly her passion for professional springboard diving. However, her life took an unexpected turn when she married at 17. She was blessed with seven wonderful children, who became the center of her world.

For 18 years, Theresa worked as a hairdresser before deciding to pursue a new path. She returned to school and became an instructor, a career change that brought her fulfillment and joy. With the support of her family, she now thrives in her work, grateful for the opportunity to do what she loves every day.
